What Is a Mutual Fund Factsheet?

A mutual fund factsheet is a monthly document published by each Asset Management Company (AMC). It is the official snapshot of every scheme they manage — covering portfolio composition, asset allocation, fund manager commentary, performance data, and key risk metrics.

SEBI mandates that AMCs publish factsheets within 10 days of the month-end. They are publicly available, free to access, and one of the most reliable sources of scheme-level data available to investors.

On this page, we index official AMC factsheet links and add our plain-language commentary — helping you understand what changed and why it matters, without needing to decode jargon.

Frequently Asked Questions

About Mutual Fund Factsheets

SEBI mandates that all AMCs publish their scheme factsheets on a monthly basis, within 10 days of the end of each month. Most AMCs publish between the 7th and 10th of the following month. For example, March 2025 factsheets appear between April 7–10, 2025.

Yes. A factsheet is a monthly performance and portfolio update. A KIM (Key Information Memorandum) is a shorter static document covering key scheme attributes. A SID (Scheme Information Document) is the full, legal document covering all scheme terms — it is updated only when scheme fundamentals change. For current portfolio and performance data, the factsheet is the most relevant document.

A factsheet is an informational document — it tells you what a fund did, not whether it is right for you. Your investment decisions should be based on your own financial goals, time horizon, and risk tolerance. We recommend reading factsheets as part of an overall understanding of a fund house's approach, not as a standalone investment signal.

All factsheet links on this page point to the respective AMC's official website or AMFI's website. We do not host PDFs on our servers — this ensures you always access the original, unmodified document as published by the AMC.
